Evans Original BBQ sauce

3 cups of ketchup

1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup honey

1 cup apple cider vinegar

1 Tbs liquid smoke

2 Tbs chili powder

1 cup of jelly or fruit flavored syrup

-Optional to taste

2 Tbs Evan's Spices

1 to 2 Tbsp cayenne

chopped Jalepeno pepper

Freshly squeezed lemon

1 Tbsp of Sesame oil

Basil

salt

pepper

garlic powder

Add all ingredients except ketchup in a sauce pan and cook on medium until for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Add ketchup and cook for 30 minutes. Feel free to experiment with other taste and flavors. It is really hard to get this wrong, so be adventurous. For a more vinegary taste add another cup or 2 of the apple cider vinegar.

Root Beer BBQ Sauce

16 oz root beer

1 16 bottle of your favorite flavored syrup(I always use a berry flavored)or jelly

1 cup of apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup worchestshire sauce

1 cup brown sugar

1/8 cup hot sauce

1 Tbs liquid smoke

Evan Spices

5 cups os ketchup

Mix all ingredients except ketchup and cook on low heat until all of the sugar and the spices are dissolved. Cook for 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the time you have. Add the ketchup and cook for 30 minutes to an our.

For more heat add a tablespoon or two of cayenne pepper or for a more vinegar taste add 1 cup or 2 of apple cider vinegar.
